The Kremlin said Friday that a draft Russia-Ukraine agreement negotiated in 2022 could serve as a starting point for prospective talks to end the fighting that has dragged into a third year. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that the draft document that was discussed in Istanbul in March 2022 could be “the basis for starting negotiations.” In September 2022, Russia annexed four Ukrainian regions in a move that Kyiv and its Western allies have rejected as an unlawful.

Thailand's Central Group buys KaDeWe property, say industry sources
Thai retailer Central Group has bought the landmark KaDeWe property in Germany from the insolvent Austrian company Signa Group, two industry sources told Reuters on Friday. Central could also take over the entire KaDeWe Group, which includes Alsterhaus in Hamburg, and Oberpollinger in Munich. Central and the insolvent Signa Prime, which owns shares in the luxury department stores, declined to comment.

Belgium probing alleged Russian interference in EU election campaign
Belgian prosecutors are looking into possible Russian interference in the upcoming European Parliament election following findings provided by intelligence services, Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said on Friday. LONDON (Reuters) -Apple on Friday lost a bid to throw out a mass lawsuit valued at just under $1 billion, brought in London on behalf of more than 1,500 app developers over its App Store fees. The case, worth up to 785 million pounds ($979 million) and one of several faced by the U.S. tech giant in the United Kingdom, alleges Apple charged third-party developers unfair commissions of up to 30% on purchases of apps or other content. Sean Ennis, a competition law professor and economist, is spearheading the case which was filed at the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) last year.
